Questions
Where do the leads come from?
We search the web for companies in the niches you pick, check each one against your ideal customer, then find a founder or decision maker and a contact email. Companies without an email are skipped.
Will the emails sound like a robot?
Each email is built from facts we found about that company, kept under 110 words, with no flattery or filler. You can review every email before it sends, or switch to automatic once you trust it.
Is it safe for my inbox?
Each inbox sends about 40 a day at most, so bigger volumes are spread across several inboxes. New inboxes start slow and ramp up over three weeks, emails are spaced out through the day, and every email has a one click opt out. We still recommend a domain you are comfortable using for cold email.
What counts as one email?
One credit is one email we research, write and queue for you. Companies that turn out not to be a fit, or where we cannot find a real problem to write about, are free.
How do I send 500 emails a day?
Connect more inboxes. On the Scale plan you can connect up to 20 and Coldread rotates between them, so each one stays at a safe daily volume while your total reaches 500 a day.
Which inboxes work?
Gmail and Google Workspace, Zoho Mail, and any other provider that offers SMTP, such as Fastmail or your web host. For Gmail and Zoho you can connect with an app password in about two minutes.
Do I need any other subscriptions?
No. Research, writing and lead finding are included. You only need an email inbox to send from.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, in one click from Billing. Your plan runs until the end of the month you paid for.
